Jennifer is approaching an incredible milestone at CEC Energy, celebrating 10 years with the company this March. Over the past decade, Jennifer has become a trusted, steady presence within the organization, known for her versatility, institutional knowledge, and willingness to step in wherever help is needed.

Currently serving as an AR Lead, Jennifer oversees billing, collections, and customer communication. While that may be her official title, her impact reaches far beyond one role. From the beginning of her time at CEC, Jennifer has worn many hats—supporting office management, payroll, projects, and operations. Her broad understanding of how the company works has made her a valuable resource to teams across the organization.

Jennifer originally joined CEC to help open and support the West Texas office. At the time, she and her family made the decision to relocate together, embracing the opportunity as a team. Since then, Jennifer has played a key role in keeping operations running smoothly through years of growth and change. Having worked alongside multiple operations managers over the years, she has often been described as the “mom of West Texas”—someone employees can count on for guidance, support, and problem-solving.

What Jennifer enjoys most about her work is the ability to see a task or project through from beginning to end. With a background in education and 10 years of teaching experience, she has a natural passion for communication and helping others learn. That desire to solve problems, teach, and improve processes continues to shape the way she approaches her work at CEC.

One value that resonates most with Jennifer is integrity. She believes strongly in doing things the right way—fully, fairly, and with purpose. This mindset not only guides her own work, but also reflects the culture she values at CEC.

Jennifer credits CEC with giving her opportunities to continue learning and growing professionally, even beyond her original field of study. She encourages new employees to be flexible and open to learning, noting that CEC is filled with knowledgeable people and opportunities to grow.
Above all, Jennifer is motivated by her family. Everything she does—showing up each day, supporting her team, and doing her job well—is driven by her desire to make them proud.
