Human Resources Director

For nearly 12 years, CEC’s HR Director has grown alongside the company—stepping into new roles, taking on new challenges, and ultimately finding her passion in Human Resources.

What started as a temporary position quickly turned into a long-term career. Over the years, she’s worn many hats, but today HR is where she thrives. From interviewing and hiring to employee relations, compliance reporting, and implementing systems like BambooHR and KPA, her days are best described as “organized chaos.”

“There’s never a dull moment,” she says. “Every day is different.”

In 2024, CEC experienced its largest year yet—expanding into Arizona and growing to nearly 700 employees—all while launching a new HR system. Through it all, she remained focused on building processes, supporting leadership, and strengthening her team.

While many people think HR is mostly paperwork and hiring, there is so much more happening behind the scenes. Her role involves ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, partnering with leadership on complex workplace matters, and collaborating with legal counsel when necessary. She plays a critical part in protecting both employees and the company.

What she enjoys most is building strong, trusted relationships by supporting employees and cultivating a positive workplace culture where people feel empowered to thrive.

“I love employee engagement and making sure people feel supported and valued.”

She credits much of her professional growth to the mentorship and leadership at CEC, particularly the company’s commitment to placing people where they can succeed. Having started in marketing and operations before transitioning into HR, her career path reflects CEC’s culture of opportunity and trust.

When asked to describe that culture, one word stands out: Integrity.

“It’s something I value personally, and it’s something I see throughout the company. We work as a team, and everyone’s contribution matters.”

Outside of work, she’s a proud mom who spends most of her time at soccer games and with her family. And in case you didn’t know—she took welding in high school and was in FFA for 10 years.

From welding projects to leading HR, her journey proves that growth, grit, and integrity go a long way.
