Mr. Brian Cobb joined CEC Energy in 2022 and quickly became a key contributor to the company’s growth by leading competitive estimating efforts and supporting successful project pursuits across multiple business sectors. Through his leadership, CEC implemented enhanced estimating processes, strengthened supplier partnerships, and expanded strategic sourcing capabilities to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving market.
As Vice President of Procurement, Mr. Cobb leads CEC Energy’s enterprise procurement strategy, focusing on supplier alignment, procurement governance, pricing strategy, and operational scalability. His role is centered on transforming procurement into a competitive advantage through formal supplier agreements, enterprise visibility, data-driven sourcing decisions, and cross-functional alignment between estimating, operations, accounting, and procurement.
Mr. Cobb is currently leading the development of CEC’s Procurement Intelligence Environment (PIE), an initiative designed to improve enterprise-wide procurement visibility, strengthen supplier relationships, standardize purchasing practices, and support measurable margin improvement across the organization.
With more than a decade of experience in electrical construction estimating and operations support, Mr. Cobb brings a practical, solutions-oriented approach to procurement leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management and remains focused on building scalable systems, strategic partnerships, and operational excellence to support CEC Energy’s long-term growth.
