Mr. Danny Cook serves as Chief Operating Officer of CEC Energy Services, where he oversees day-to-day operations and leads the company’s strategic growth initiatives. As the third-generation of the company’s founding legacy, Danny brings more than 25 years of construction and business management experience. Since joining CEC in 2012, he has served in executive leadership roles spanning President, Chief Commercial Officer, and Chief Executive Officer. Across each, he has driven the strategic evolution of the company’s service offerings, aligned operations with long-term industry trends, and built high-performing teams committed to discipline, integrity, ownership, and respect.

 

Under his leadership, CEC has expanded into new markets and delivered increasingly complex infrastructure projects — with individual initiatives exceeding $40 million — significantly strengthening the company’s capabilities and market presence.

 

Before joining CEC, Mr. Cook advanced through a series of leadership roles at leading energy firms including OPI International, Superior Energy Services, Helix Energy Solutions, and Horizon Offshore (Cal Dive), delivering projects across the Gulf of Mexico, Latin America, West Africa, and Southeast Asia.

 

He holds a B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology from Texas State University and remains dedicated to CEC’s mission: “Empowering People to Power Communities.”
