Our dedication to corporate volunteering, networking, and community service is at the heart of our operations, reflecting our belief in building a better future for everyone. Through partnerships with local organizations and active participation in community events, we strive to make a meaningful impact and foster sustainable growth.

Volunteering, Service, and Community Events

This One’s For The Gals: CEC Energy is an active volunteer with TOFTG, where our electricians conduct electrical workshops, teaching young girls how to build cell phone charging stations. CEC has sponsored and attended the “Women in Industry” conference for two years, contributing as a Bronze sponsor, which includes an exhibitor booth. In December 2024, CEC participated in the TOFTG Fashion Show as a sponsor and also volunteered at Valero’s STEM Day, supporting initiatives that empower women and promote STEM education.

Local School Sponsorships: CEC Energy is dedicated to supporting local schools through various sponsorships. Some of our sponsorships include T-Ball teams for Oil Belt Little League and Sinton Little League, providing jerseys featuring the CEC logo. As Platinum Sponsors of the Calallen Wildcat Football League, we contribute to announcements and advertisements at home games and receive a sponsor plaque in recognition. Additionally, we have donated items to Sinton High School and serve as a basketball sponsor for Gregory-Portland High School.

STRIVE® to Impact Educators: At CEC Energy, we believe that empowering educators means empowering the future. From our hometown of Sinton, TX to schools across the state, our team is passionate about sharing real-world knowledge and experiences that spark curiosity and confidence in students. We partner with local teachers to bring energy, innovation, and practical lessons into the classroom — reaching learners of all ages, from middle schoolers to adults. The result? Future leaders who are not only inspired but equipped to make an impact of their own.

Food Banks: As volunteers at our local food banks, CEC assists in supporting community members who face food insecurity. Typical activities include sorting and organizing donated goods, stocking shelves, assembling food boxes, and helping with distribution to families in need. CEC also holds food drives. This experience not only provides vital support to the food bank’s operations but also allows CEC Energy to make a direct, positive impact on the well-being of the community.

Humane Society: At the heart of our company culture is a commitment to giving back—and that includes supporting the most vulnerable members of our community, both two-legged and four-legged. Through our corporate volunteering efforts at the local Humane Society, our team members have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of homeless and rescued animals.

Majesty Outdoors: Majesty Outdoors is a nonprofit focused on mentoring fatherless youth through outdoor experiences, fostering character development, leadership, and hope. CEC Energy are proud volunteers and sponsors of Majesty Outdoors. CEC Energy is a proud sponsor of the Coastal Bend West Side Chapter.
